These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the website and services of Héctor Carcione e Hijo (hereinafter, “the Company”). By requesting a quote or contracting our services, you fully and unconditionally accept the provisions detailed herein.
1. Purpose of the Services
Héctor Carcione e Hijo is a family-run SME specializing in fine cabinetmaking, offering furniture restoration services, original caning, gluing, varnishing, and custom design. The company guarantees that all work is carried out in its own workshop, without outsourcing any stage of the process.
2. Request for Quotes
- Methodology: Estimates are issued exclusively in writing via WhatsApp or email.
- Image Requirement: We do not provide estimates over the phone. Sending clear photographs of the furniture or piece to be restored is a prerequisite for receiving a quote so that our master cabinetmakers can assess the condition of the frame, structure, and finish.
- Validity: Estimates have a limited validity period, which will be specified in the communication sent to the client.
3. Logistics, Pickup and Delivery
- Responsibility for Transport: Héctor Carcione e Hijo does not provide pick-up or home delivery services. The transport of furniture to and from our factory (Montenegro 365, Buenos Aires City) is the sole responsibility, cost, and risk of the client.
- Reception: The client may use the transport or freight service of their choice. Reception and delivery hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 14:50, with prior coordination through official channels.
- Loading and Unloading: The Company provides a loading and unloading area at its entrance (Orange Gate) to facilitate the operation of the transport contracted by the client.
4. Execution of Work and Materials
- Quality of Materials: In cane weaving services, the use of high-quality natural fibers and original cane is guaranteed, rejecting the use of synthetic materials or “wicker-like” substitutes with low resistance.
- Processes: As professional cabinetmakers, the Company reserves the right to rebuild or reinforce frames and structures before weaving or polishing if it is deemed technically necessary for the durability of the work.
5. Billing and Payments
Héctor Carcione e Hijo is a registered taxpayer with the AFIP (Argentine Federal Tax Authority) and issues electronic invoices of types A, B, and E (Export). Payment terms (advances, balances, and accepted payment methods) will be detailed individually in each approved quote.
6. New Manufacturing and Export
Users are advised that the manufacture of new furniture (both period and modern) is currently exclusively for the export market. For the domestic market, services focus on the restoration, conservation, and enhancement of existing pieces.
7. Intellectual Property
All original designs, trademarks, texts, and images on this website are the exclusive property of Héctor Carcione e Hijo and are protected by intellectual property laws. Their reproduction, in whole or in part, is prohibited without express authorization.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Company is not responsible for damages that occur during transport by third parties, nor for hidden defects in the furniture that were not detectable through prior photographs or initial visual inspection.
9. Jurisdiction and Applicable Law
For any dispute arising from the provision of services, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the Ordinary Courts of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, Republic of Argentina, waiving any other jurisdiction or venue.
